When activated, they can send fire signals to the control room and then activate a predetermined set of instructions. Also if a smoke detector is set up with Solution 16plus or Solution 64, an sms report will be sent if the smoke detector is triggered.

Bosch Motion Sensors/Detectors
Motion sensors can be either cabled or wirelessly connected back to the main control panel. They are activated by changes in both temperature and motion in their field of view. Motion sensors are specifically placed around the property in order to capture an intruder as quickly as possible. When motion sensors are triggered, they send a message to the alarm control panel that activates the sirens and if monitored, sends important information back to the 24 hour control room.
There are three types of sensors used in motion detectors spectrum
- Passive infrared sensors (PIR) – looks for body heat. No energy is emitted from the sensor
- Microwave (active) – sensor sends out microwave pulses and measures the reflection off a moving object
- Ultrasonic (active) – sensor sends out pulses and measures the reflection off a moving object
